Maine couple killed after boat flips in Florida

Craig Millett and his wife, Brenna Millett, are Cape Coral residents who also lived in Maine. Friends of the third victim, Rebecca Knight, told our media partner WMTW that she was also from Maine. Security concern temporarily restricts access at Bangor airport

First responders were called to the airport as authorities assessed the situation. Passengers inside the terminal were allowed to leave, but no one was permitted to enter from outside during the response. The airport said it was notified of a security matter that required certain protocols to be activated. Bangor police deployed personnel to oversee the investigation, and vehicular traffic to the airport was temporarily limited while the incident was reviewed. The terminal has since reopened and the airport has issued an "all clear." Officials said the investigation remains ongoing and referred further questions to the Bangor Police Department. Authorities still haven't released information regarding something that happened at the airport last night. At one point, Bangor Police had closed off the roadway leading to the airport and people weren't allowed to enter the terminal. Tent City, also known as Camp Hope, was Bangor's largest homeless encampment when the city closed it in February. The land, which spans about 7 acres between Cleveland Street and Texas Avenue, was home to nearly 100 people. This is the first known dollar amount for an encampment cleanup in Bangor, showing the taxpayer cost of shutting down a homeless community that existed for years on city land.
